How to Access Another Computer from Your Computer?

Knowing how to access another computer from your computer (known as remote accessing) is particularly useful when you use different computers at work and home and need to access files or perform tasks through both computers at the same time or while being only at 1 location.

Step 1.Allow computers to access each other using the following method. You need to follow this procedure for every computer that you want to access remotely. Go to the Start menu and right-click on "My Computer."

Step 2.Click on "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
Step 3.Select the "Remote Setting" tab.


Step 3. Tick the box next to "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" and then press the "OK" button at the bottom.
